Participation in the Youth World Games is open to all young athletes based on age categories for each sport available.

The tournament format in all sports disciplines for the Youth World Games 2024 secures all teams and athletes attending the event plenty of competition and the chance to play international opponents from all over the world.
The tournament will be played according to the regulations of the corresponding International and National Governing Sports Bodies and is open to any clubs and/or schools. The tournament organization reserves the right, if needed, to make adjustments to the tournament format to guarantee that every team plays the same number of games.
